Manufactured in 1936 with standard markings and features, and subsequently masterfully engraved and bobbed by John Adams Jr. of Adams & Adams Custom Engravers. The included Adams & Adams authentication letter lists the revolver by serial number, caliber, and barrel length, and states that the engraving is "D" Colt scroll with a bobbed hammer and trigger guard, work which was done in February of 2018. This equates to approximately 90% coverage, beautifully executed, floral scroll which is signed with Adams' monogram "JA II" on the toe of the front strap. It is fitted with replaced checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions (listed in the letter as pearl).

Very fine as masterfully embellished/modified by John Adams Jr., retains 99% plus satin nickel finish with only the slightest handling marks and a faint cylinder drag line. The grips are fine showing some mild wear and a few light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
