Description:

Manufactured in Italy and imported by Springfield Armory of Geneseo, Illinois, this is a semi-automatic version of the Italian BM-59 battle rifle. Much like the American M14, the BM-59 was an evolution of the famous M1 Garand rifle, feeding 7.62x51 NATO ammunition from a detachable 20-shot magazine. Fixed front and adjustable peep rear sights, with an integral grenade launching muzzle, flip-up grenade sight, and a folding bipod on the gas tube. The receiver is fitted with a flip-down winter trigger, and has the Springfield Armory address on the left side of the heel. Smooth pistol grip stock with a rubber buttpad. With matching shipping box, manual, and oilers.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 98% of the original black finish, showing some mild edge and cycling wear overall. The stock is very good, with some mild dings and spots. Mechanically excellent.
