Manufactured in 1904 and subsequently embellished by Master Engraver R. Sully who has signed the underside of the frame. The profuse engraving consists of broad floral scrollwork on a punch dot background along with a blossom on the recoil shield and loading gate, eagle's head on the hammer, caliber designation in a banner, gold inlaid bands on the barrel at the muzzle and breech and gold inlaid line borders on the cylinder.
