The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver with a 2 inch barrel in .22 caliber, blue finish and type of stocks not listed when shipped to Murta Appleton & Co. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on May 26, 1933. Round blade front and frame notch rear sights, standard caliber and model marking on the left side of the barrel and two-line address and patent marking on the right, checkered hammer and trigger, and Rampant Colt logo on the left side plate. With checkered silver Colt medallion grips. Revolver includes a Colt factory roll die for the .22 caliber Banker's Special.

Very fine with 85% plus original blue finish, some light edge and muzzle wear, and visible cylinder drag line. The grips are also very fine with crisp checkering and a few small dings. Mechanically excellent. Roll die is fine with an overall gray patina, and some light brown spotting.
