Manufactured in 1936. Fixed blade front and flat top square notch rear sights, two-line Hartford address and patent marking on left side of slide, model, caliber, and Rampant Colt marking on the right, short, checkered milled trigger, long grip safety, checkered wide spur hammer, arched checkered mainspring housing, matching serial number under the correct polished face firing pin stop, and checkered walnut grips. Correct barrel marked "COLT 45 AUTO MATCH" on lower left over "MB" in a circle on left side of lug. Correct blue magazine marked "COLT 45 AUTO" on base.

Excellent with 97% plus bright original blue finish, some traces of light edge wear, and some small takedown marks below the slide catch. Rear portion of hammer has been trimmed down approximately by one-third, most likely in the period of usage. The grips are also excellent with overall sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
