This revolver is a Webley & Scott sold under the trade name Trulock & Harriss, a well-known Dublin firm of the day. One of the founders of Trulock & Harriss, John Harriss, was the brother-in-law of Henry Webley, a relationship which no doubt helped in securing the retail rights of these revolvers. The left side of the frame is marked "WEBLEY’S/PATENT" and the top strap is marked "TRULOCK & HARRISS/9 DAWSON St. DUBLIN".
Very fine, retaining 85% original blue, scattered areas of oxidation, finish loss concentrated on the grip straps, and well-defined checkering on the fine grips. Mechanically excellent.
