Manufactured before 1956. Embellished by the renowned Master Engraver Angelo Bee with two gold bands at the muzzle, masterfully executed floral scrollwork on the left, right, and top sides of the receiver surrounding a gold inlaid portrait of J. M. Browning on the left, the FN logo on the right, and an owl on the top. The left side of the receiver is signed "A.BEE" ahead of his trademark bumble bee marking. Mounted in a highly figured skip line checkered forearm and traditionally checkered semi-pistol grip stock.

Excellent as embellished by Master Engraver Angelo Bee, showing 99% blue and grey finishes, some loss of gold in the muzzle bands, and minor handling evidence. There is a small area of discoloration on the upper right front of the receiver. The wood is very good with a few dings, professionally repaired chips, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
