This unique revolver design was patented by D. D. Oury in 1909 and they were manufactured by multiple Belgian firms, mostly out of Liege. It is equipped with a concealed hammer, folding trigger, and hinged silver plated grip featuring relief vine motifs. The only markings on this example are "00" on various parts. The Le Novo Revolver makes for a very compact package, measuring only 3 1/2 inches long and 1 1/2 inches tall when closed, easily concealable in a purse or pocket. Includes a leather coin purse type pouch that comfortably holds the revolver.

Very fine, retains 80% original blue finish, 85% plus vivid original case colors, and 90% original silver plating on the grip with the balance mostly a brown or grey patina with some brass showing through the thinned silver plating on high spots of the grip. Mechanically excellent. The leather pouch is very good with mild wear and a couple small tears.
