The outside of the ring is engraved with foliage and "IMPERIAL PROTECTOR." The six-shot cylinder and action components are niter blued. The ring itself appears to be German silver and casting flaws are visible in and around the writing. The Read & Sons marked case also contains a screwdriver and has holes for storing cartridges.

Very fine as custom made with 90% plus niter blue finish. The ring is mechanically fine. The case is fine and has mild storage wear.
