Description:

The lock is signed "CONWAY" and has scroll engraving. The barrel flares out to a little over an inch at the muzzle (gauge above estimated) and has Birmingham proofs on the left at the breech and a folding "snap bayonet" secured by a catch on the upper tang when folded. The furniture is iron and has classic English scroll and martial engraving. The stock has a checkered wrist.

Rating Definition:

Good with dark brown patina, mild pitting, broken nipple, and mild to moderate overall wear. The stock is also good and has general scrapes and dings, some small chips and slivers absent, mildly worn but distinct checkering, and a little gap at the barrel tang. The bayonet does not lock in place when extended. .The lock and trigger are mechanically fine.
