Manufactured in 1916. Dual white bead sights on the matte, vent rib barrel with a 2 3/4 inch chamber, automatic ejector, starburst engraving on either side of the block, standard markings on the flats, and full choke. Casehardened action with third fastener. The action is fully engraved with fine foliate scroll on punch dot backgrounds with fan patterns, and standard grade 4 engraved scenes of the Ithaca American Eagle logo on the right, and a trap shooter on the left. The tangs, and trigger guard are engraved to match. Checkered beavertail forearm and pistol grip stock with engraved fittings, ebony forend tip, fancy fleur de lis carved borders, blank initial shield, and Hawkins vented recoil pad. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/8 inches.

Fine with 85% plus original blue finish on the barrel, some visible muzzle wear, edge wear, and some small dings along the rib. The action has 40% original muted case colors with the balance silvered out to a gray patina with areas of some patchy oxidation, and mottled brown on the trigger guard. The wood is fine with small dings and dents overall, attractive figure, moderately worn checkering, and visible loss of definition in the fancy carved borders. Mechanically excellent.
