Description:

With undated "W" marked Winchester proofed barrel, blade front and two leaf flip up rear peep sights, narrow type 1 barrel band, blue finish flat-top bolt, milled trigger group with smooth pushbutton safety and magazine catch, and standard markings on the receiver heel. Correct high wood stock, two rivet handguard, "crossed cannons" Ordnance mark and "W.R.A/G.H.D." inspection marks on right side of buttstock, stamped checkered buttplate, and canvas web sling with oiler.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 95% original factory parkerized finish, some dark patina on the front sight base, small handling marks, and traces of mild edge wear. Bolt has 90% original blue. The stock is very fine with scattered dings and dents, crisp markings, and some very light chipping just ahead of the operating rod/handle. Mechanically excellent.
