Description:

A closed-bolt blowback-operated sub-machine gun, the Reising Model 50 saw action with the U.S. Marines in the Pacific as a substitute for the M1 Thompson. However, they found their best success as defensive weapons for war-essential industries and as patrol carbines for American police forces. Features an early finned, "P" proofed barrel with slotted compensator, fixed blade front and elevation adjustable rear peep sights, three-line model, caliber, maker, and Worcester address on top of the receiver, three position "SAFE SA. FA." marked selector, bright polished blue finish overall, and high polish varnished hardwood stock with flat blue steel buttplate. Includes a properly fitted storage case with "FEDERAL LABORATORIES INC." decal on the lid, and three extra magazines.

Rating Definition:

Very fine with 95% bright original blue finish, some scattered small dings and scratches, and mild handling marks. The refinished stock is also excellent with almost all of the original high gloss varnish remaining, some small scattered dings, and some small scratches on the buttplate. The case shows wear and tear appropriate to age and travel. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a restricted, National Firearms Act (NFA) Class 3, Fully Automatic Weapon, that is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
