This pistol is identified as an SS issued PPK and listed by serial number on page 195 of "SS Walther PP/PPK Identification & Documents: Gold Edition" by Steven J. Stepan. Based on Stepan's typology this would be a Type 5 pistol. Standard blade front and notch rear sights, Walther banner logo followed by the two-line address/patent/caliber and model markings on the left side of the slide, and commercial "crown/N" proofs on the barrel chamber, muzzle, and slide. The slide and frame have matching serial numbers with the correct "K" suffix. 60 degree safety, serrated ring hammer, and checkered Walther banner grips. The pistol includes its two original magazines, both numbered to the gun with respective "1/2" suffixes, and "D.R.G.M." marked brown leather Akah holster with possibly GI capture markings "NORMAN RAY" under flap in ink.
