Manufactured for Colt by J.P. Sauer & Son of West Germany. This rifle features a barrel manufactured without sights with the Colt Hartford address on top, factory drilled and tapped receiver with standard markings, Redfield swivel style scope bases and rings, polished bolt body, adjustable trigger, detachable box magazine, and tang safety. With a nicely figured checkered high comb pistol grip English walnut stock with contrasting wood forend and grip caps, raised cheekpiece, sling swivel studs, and a vented Colt Sauer recoil pad.

Excellent overall with 99% bright original blue finish, scattered light handling marks, and light cycling marks on the bolt. The stock is fine with some scattered handling evidence visible, sharp checkering, and 1/4 inch hairline crack at the end of the upper tang. Mechanically excellent.
