The included factory letter confirms the model, serial number, caliber, barrel length, finish, and December 21, 1998 date of shipment to Lew Horton Distributors of Westboro, Massachusetts. The letter further states these pistols were produced in a very limited run of 350 units, all with the special "ULTIMATE OFFICER'S II" roll mark and "LHU" serial number prefix. Standard blade front and fixed notch rear sights, bright stainless finished slide, Royal Blue frame, and gold plated small parts. The trigger, slide catch, thumb safety, and ring hammer are serrated. The letter lists the grips as "checkered composition rubber", however, the included grips are smooth cream color plastic with inset gold Colt medallions and gold plated screws. Includes standard blue factory box and white shipping sleeve renumbered to the gun.

Excellent overall with 99% plus original finish remaining, some scattered light handling marks, and just a few small visible surface scratches. Replacement grips are very fine. Mechanically excellent. Blue box is excellent. White shipping sleeve is good with corner and edge wear, and some staining.
