Manufactured from 1865-1888 each of the pistols has the standard markings as well as their specific serial numbers marked on the barrel and under the left grip of each. They both have a full blue finish and are fitted with pearl grips. Both are fitted with post and notch sights. This pistol has a removable "FB-223" white paint collection mark visible on the butt. They are contained in an included hardwood fitted case with a blank brass escutcheon on the lid that holds both pistols as well as the sealed box of Union Metallic Cartridge Co. .22 Short RF cartridges.

Fine, retains 70% plus original blue finish with the balance a mixture of brown and grey patinas. The grips are very fine with a few scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The relined to fit case is very good with some minor exterior handling/storage marks. The cartridge box appears to be factory sealed and contain the full compliment of cartridges.
