Description:

This eye catching cane is topped with a beautifully relief carved grip featuring a hunting wolf atop a boulder. Directly below the prominent grip is a checkered silver band which features a blank initial escutcheon. The hardwood shaft is finished in a rich black enamel and a German silver ferrule is present to protect the tip from deformation. The overall length is 36 3/4 inches.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with some slight age darkening on the grip, a small chip from the wolves ear, and crisp carving overall. Most of the dark black enamel remains on the shaft with some scattered light chipping, and an attractive antique patina on the silver and German silver. If you are in search of a cane that exudes 19th century gentlemanly style or lets everyone in the room know you are the alpha of the pack, you need look no further!
