Description:

The prominent T-shaped handle of this cane features mirrored wild boar's heads separated by oak leaf clusters, creating a very Germanic look. The hardwood shaft is coated in a tan/brown enamel and there is a horn ferrule at the tip to protect from deformation. The overall length is 36 inches. It certainly has the look of a cane regularly carried by an 18th or 19th century Germanic gentleman.

Rating Definition:

Very fine overall, with some slight discoloration on the grip, crisp carving, some mild crazing of the enamel on the shaft, and generally an attractive aged look. A perfect accessory for your morning strolls around your country estate!
