The trefoil bayonet has a 5 3/8 inch blade and is built as part of the arbor pin. The leather wrapped iron holster is specially designed with a cylindrical section at the top for the pepperbox and then a conical section at the bottom for the bayonet. The Damascus steel barrels and bolsters are numbered 1-6, and a Liege proof is between two of the nipples. The frame and trigger engraved with complex scroll patterns, and the front strap has "436" and "MARIETTE/BREVETE." The grips are fluted, and the right panel has "73" at the junction with the back of the frame.
