The TrackingPoint system allows the shooter to view the target with an impressive digital zoom factor and then tag their desired point of impact. From here the internal computer instantly calculates a firing solution based on range, ballistic curves, temperature, humidity, incline, cant, and a number of other factors related to shot accuracy. The shooter is then able to place the now computer adjusted reticle over the point of impact and fire. The scope is even capable of broadcasting the HUD display to connected devices such as an Ipad or smart phone.
