Description:

Manufactured in Russia and imported by California Armory Inc. of San Bruno, California, the Izhmach Tiger is a commercial copy of the SVD Dragunov Rifle known in some circles as a "California Armory Tiger" or "California Tiger". The original order was for 1,000 rifles, but only 700 were imported into the U.S. before importation was cut off. Hooded post front and tangent rear sights, long flash hider with bayonet lug and milled receiver dated "1993" and bearing the factory markings on the right side and the import markings and integral scope mounting rail on the left fitted with a Russian marked PSO-1 scope. The left side is also marked "0635 OF 1000". Fitted with a ventilated plastic forearm, and laminate thumbhole pistol grip stock with stamped buttplate. Includes leather sling, canvas scope cover, batteries for the scope, cleaning tools, and extra magazine. These rifles are the second rarest Dragunov variant in the United States, second only to the 100 SVDs imported by KBI.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 98% original matte black finish remaining, small bright line under the safety lever, and some small scattered surface nicks and scratches. The stock is also excellent with some small scattered dings. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with clear optics and untested illuminator.
