Manufactured in 1929. The barrel is stamped "-MODEL 92-WINCHESTER-44 W.C.F." on the left side and the two-line address is stamped on the right side. The barrel and receiver are stamped with the Winchester factory oval proof. The upper tang has the three-line trade mark information. The carbine is fitted with a pinned blade front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. The forearm and buttstock are nicely figured walnut.

Excellent, retaining 90% original blue finish with most of the loss due to flaking turned to a brown on the forward lower frame. There is a thumb nail size ding on the wrist (right side), otherwise the wood is excellent with some scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent. A solid example of a Model 1892 saddle ring carbine in very desirable .44 WCF.
