Manufactured in 1906 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Pinned blade front and folding ladder rear sights with saddle ring and staple mounted on the left of the receiver. Mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate. The included factory letter lists the carbine in .44 caliber, received at the warehouse on 22 March 1906 and shipped 26 May 1906 in order number 55748. These 16 inch barrel Trapper Carbines are extremely desirable due to not requiring an exemption letter from the ATF for the barrel length.
