Manufactured in 1924 with standard Winchester markings including factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech as well as the added retailer mark "No 1292 GRIFFIN & HOWE, INC. NEW YORK" on top of the barrel between the rear sight and sling swivel band. Fitted with a dovetailed ramped beaded blade front sight and three-leaf express rear sight engraved for 100, 200, and 300 yards. Mounted with a smooth schnabel tip forearm and straight grip stock with a checkered steel shotgun buttplate.

Very fine as Griffin & Howe refurbished/refinished, retains 95% plus blue finish with the balance a smooth grey patina, primarily on the buttplate and front bottom of the magazine. The lightly sanded and reoiled wood is very fine with a few scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
