The blue Krupp steel chopper-lump barrels are fitted with a ramped beaded blade front sight and a dovetailed two-leaf (one standing with gold inlaid center line, one folding) express notch rear sight on the matted raised quarter rib, and a concave rib marked "CAL. .500 N.E." on top and mounted with a sling swivel stud on the bottom. Casehardened finished A&D box lock triple lockup action with Greener cross bolt third fastener. The action also features near full coverage, masterfully executed, Grade 3, English style floral scroll engraving with "HEYM" inlaid in gold on each side and the bottom, dual triggers, and manual sliding tang safety. Mounted with a very finely figured, custom fit, checkered walnut splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with fittings embellished with flourishes of floral scroll engraving, teardrop flats, raised shadowline cheekpiece, rear sling swivel stud, and solid rubber recoil pad. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 3/4 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 7/16 inches; weight 11 pounds 12.2 ounces (5.34kg).

Excellent, retains 99% plus original blue and casehardened finishes with only the slightest handling marks and crisp engraving. The wood is also excellent with a few scattered light handling marks and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent.
