Double bead sight on a solid rib, with "CHROMOX FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL" on the right barrel, "MADE BY A.H.FOX GUN Co. PHILA. PA. U.S.A." on the left, and a 1 3/4 inch wedge of leafy vine engraving on each breech. Chokes measure improved cylinder/improved modified, with 3 inch chambers and ejectors. Deep leafy engraved frame, break lever, tangs, and trigger guard, with scenes of a fox on the underside of the frame, ducks in flight on the left and quails on the right, with "ANSLEY H. FOX" in the bird scenes. Equipped with dual triggers and a tang safety. Checkered forearm and round knob pistol grip stock a horn forearm tip insert, solid Noshoc recoil pad, and a 14 inch length of pull.

Excellent, with 95% blue finish, with some light scratches and dings on the refinished barrels, a small amount of gray patina on the trigger guard and mild handling marks overall. Chambers appear to have been lengthened. Vivid original case colors are present in the protected areas of the frame, with silvering overall. Stock is very good, with mild scratches and dings, along with sharp checkering and attractive grain. Mechanically excellent.
