Description:

Manufactured in 1943. Blade and flat top notch sights, the "USS" monogram and "U.S. & S. Co./SWISSVALE, PA. U.S.A." on the left side of the slide, with a Robert Downie "R.C.D." inspected frame, thin checkered hammer, short stamped trigger, long grip safety, arched checkered mainspring housing, reinforced Keyes Fiber grips, full blue "R" marked magazine and "HS" marked High Standard barrel.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 98% plus original dulite finish, showing a light patch on the front right of the slide, mild handling marks and light edge wear. The bluing of the barrel is strong, approximately 85% intact, with some mild cycling wear. The grips are also excellent, with a few scuffs on the otherwise sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
