Manufactured 1916-1918 and proofed for issue to the Imperial German armed forces. Blade front and 500-meter tangent rear sights, with the three-line address on the top chamber flat, "crown/crown/U" on the chamber and bolt, "crown/gothic letter" on the right side of the chamber and the two-line address on the right side of the frame. External numbers are matching overall with a New Safety hammer, slotted back strap, and matching numbered 32-groove grips with a branded and red-filled "9" on each panel. Included with the pistol is a shoulder stock (attaching iron numbered "310") with imperial proof on the left and a "1918" dated leather carrier harness.

Very fine, retains 80% plus original blue finish and 90% original nitre blue with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina with some light surface pitting and brown patina on the front strap. The grips are fine with minor dings and scratches scattered throughout and traces of the original red paint remaining in the brands. Mechanically excellent. The stock is fine with some minor dings and scratches scattered throughout and about half the original blue on the attaching iron. The harness is fine with the magazine pouch stud removed some mild wear and cracking.
