Designed by George H. Fox and manufactured from 1870 through 1884 with a unique sliding breech action. The action moves to the right when the upper tang mounted release is pushed up. The Damascus double barrels have 2 5/8 inch chambers. Mounted on a checkered splinter forearm, with checkered round knob pistol grip stock and a casehardened smooth steel buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.
