Manufactured by Remington and subsequently masterfully embellished by renowned Master Engraver Arnold Griebel. 3 inch chambers, skeet choke, two bead sights, and standard markings on the matted vent rib barrel. The engraving consists of a skeet shooting scene on the left with two gentlemen and a gold clay pigeon in flight. The right side of the receiver shows a golden dog flushing three golden quail in a field scene. The balance of the receiver is covered in profuse floral scroll work that encapsulates the scenes. Arnold Griebel was a Chicago based firearms engraver from the 1940s -1960s and was very well respected by the engraving community. He has signed his work "A. GRIEBEL" on the bottom of the receiver below the serial number. Included with the gun are two extra matching numbered barrels with matching engraving, one is choked full and the other is choked modified. Stock measurements: drop at comb 1 1/4 inches; drop at heel 2 3/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches.
