Fitted with a German silver Rocky Mountain blade front and elevation adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sporting sights on the heavy full octagon barrel. The underside of the barrel is fitted with a rib and ram rod pipes with a brass tipped wooden ram rod. The top barrel flat is stamped "OLD RELIABLE" forward of the rear sight with the caliber notation behind the sight. The casehardened Farmingdale, New York, marked action features double set triggers and attractive nitre blue screws and pins. Mounted on a smooth forearm with two wedges and a metal end cap. The buttstock has a straight wrist and a crescent brown steel buttplate.
