Description:

This print is marked "203" in white in the lower right corner and "21" in pencil on the upper left corner of the mounting on the back. Though not marked with his copyright or title information, colorized prints of this photograph by Laton Alton Huffman (1854-1931) have it marked with the caption/title "Plenty Bird and wife beside their teepe [sic] Cheyenne" and dated 1905. The image shows Plenty Bird wearing a feathered headdress/war bonnet and holding a bow in front of a teepee on the left and his wife in front of a horse on the right standing under a rod of drying meat. Measures 6 1/8 by 8 5/8 inches.

Rating Definition:

Very good with only minor age and storage related wear. The print remains nice and clear. Provenance: The John Fox Collection.
