This 27 1/2 x 15 3/4 inch print has the title "October Sunset on Old Indian Creek Trail" handwritten in white on the bottom left and "L.A. Huffman Miles City Montana" signed in white on the lower right. The photograph shows a herd of cattle in the foreground and the rolling hills of Montana in the background and was taken by Laton Alton Huffman (1854-1931). Huffman took many of his late 19th century and early 20th century western photographs and enlarged them in the 1920s. The decorative antique frame measures 38 1/4 by 26 1/2 inches.

Very good. The print remains distinct and has minor age and storage related wear. The matting has some minor stains. The frame has several chips at the edges. This large print will be an excellent addition to any western collection and will certainly look right at home on the wall of a gunroom with late 19th century firearms.
