Manufactured in 1917 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. Fitted with dovetailed blade front and elevation adjustable notch rear sights, and mounted with a smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a crescent butt plate.

Exceptionally fine, retains 80% plus original blue finish with the balance thinned to a mottled brown-grey patina, primarily on the buttplate, lever, and a few patches on the bolt. The wood is fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
