Manufactured 1896-1899. Features round blade front sight with standard "DOUBLE ACTION No. 6/HOPKINS & ALLEN ARMS CO./NORWICH CONN. U.S.A." on the top strap. The left side of the frame features an engraved cowboy riding a horse. Includes a leather holster made by Joseph Sullivan in Ft. Benton, Montana. Sullivan became one of the most well known saddle makers in the territory. Some sources state that Sullivan's work was as far north as Edmonton and as far south as Colorado. The holster features a single loop design with a hand tooled floral motif. Provenance: The John Fox Collection

Excellent, retaining 98% plus original nickel finish with some handling marks, and crisp engraving. Grips are good with handling marks and some surface chipping. Mechanically fine. Holster is very good with handling marks and some spots of age cracking.
