Remington Model 2 Rolling Block Sporting Rifle

This model was manufactured from 1873 until the early 1900s. It has "REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION N.Y." on top of the barrel, replacement blade and adjustable notch sights, "32" on the bottom of the barrel ahead of the forearm, the patent dates on the left side of the action, and matching serial numbers on the barrel and lower tang. ConditionFine with mostly dark, textured brown patina overall, faint original blue finish and case colors, a brighter section on the upper tang, and mild scratches and dings. The wood is also fine and has some minor scrapes and dings, a few slight cracks, and general minor wear. Mechanically fine.
