Rating Definition:

Very fine, retaining 90% original nickel finish with light to minor flaking on the balance. 90% original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger guard. The grips are fine with a faded right panel, minor handling marks and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The stock retains 97% original nickel plating and has some minor handling marks on the wood. The .38/44 New Model No. 3 equipped with an original shoulder stock is on of the scarcest and hard to find of the large frame single action S&Ws!
