This model was also known as the "Parrot Beak Derringer" and was manufactured between 1911 and 1915. Less that 1,400 are estimated to have been made. The sides of the barrel and frame are zig-zag bordered, and scrollwork is on the sides of the barrel and frame. It is fitted with a blade sight, a serrated casehardened folding trigger, and a set of smooth pearl grips with golden Hopkins & Allen medallions on either side. The left side of the barrel is marked "HOPKINS & ALLEN ARMS CO/NORWICH, CONN. U.S.A.," and the serial number is on the butt. Provenance: The Dr. Gerald Klaz Collection

Very fine with 95% plus original nickel plating, crisp markings and engraving, and light scratches. The grips are fine and have a repaired chip visible on the right side panel at the toe, light handling wear, and attractive natural colors. The barrel latch is jammed, but the action functions.
