The scalloped, side clipped boxlock action is an attractive coin gray with a Greener style cross-bolt, full coverage leafy scroll engraving and finely detailed game scenes of a doe and stag on the right and another stag and doe on the left. Dual triggers, Greener style side safety, checkered cocking piece for the rifle barrel, and carved horn trigger guard. Rating Definition:

Very fine, retaining 90% plus original blue and coin finishes, scattered scratches along the barrels, and some areas of light spotting. The wood is good with numerous cracks and repairs with two pins in the wrist and a through bolt at the head and a pinned section at the action, trigger guard separated with a crack, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
