Bright French grey finished action with single gold washed trigger and sliding tang safety/selector switch. The action is fully engraved with flowing, leafy scroll patterns surrounding brilliantly gold inlaid scenes of North American pintail ducks, showing two on the left, two on the right, and two on the underside. The underside is inscribed and gold inlaid with "AMERICAN PINTAIL 248 of 500 ANAS ACUTA". The receiver is signed "L.PIROTTE" on the right and "J.LEWANCZYK" on the left. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered deluxe walnut forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with engraved fittings and skip-line checkered bare butt. This shotgun is collector serialized to the following two lots. Includes an unlabeled factory box with hardwood storage case and shipping box.
