Manufactured in 1939. Reportedly one of only 231 manufactured as a trap grade from 1934 to 1939, with the standard first variation barrel markings, Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, and "TRAP" marked below the serial number on the receiver. Matching numbers on the receiver and receiver collar, 3 inch chamber, and choke marked "SKEET". The barrel proof is offset to the left to accommodate the factory installed solid barrel rib which is fitted with a single red bead sight. Mounted with a finely figured extended slide handle with desirable double-diamond checkering and a pistol grip stock with diamond pattern checkering, checkered Winchester buttplate, and 13 7/8 inch length of pull.
