The accompanying factory letter lists these revolvers as "A" being .44 dual caliber with 3 inch barrel, royal blue finish, and Class "A" engraving. "B" is listed as being .44 dual caliber with 3 inch barrel nickel finish and Class "B" engraving. The letter confirms grip material. These revolvers were shipped with double presentation case on December 20,1983 to Aeromarine in Birmingham, Alabama. Both "A" and "B" grip frames marked "COLT ENG". Includes Colt travel case and the two extra matching engraved .44 special cylinders.
Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish and case colors with limited handling marks, slight traces of a cylinder drag line, and crisp engraving. Mechanically excellent. Presentation case is very good with minor-moderate storage and handling marks. Travel case is excellent with limited handling and storage marks.
