The back action lock is signed "T. BLISSETT" and has scroll and border engraving. The multi-stage barrel is marked "LIVERPOOL" and has a 12 inch folding "snap" bayonet. The brass furniture has scroll engraving and a pineapple trigger guard finial. The stock has a checkered wrist and blank wrist escutcheon. The bore is estimated above and flares out to just under 1 1/2 inches at the muzzles. Includes a wooden wall mount with brass plaque marked "British Coast Guard/Black Powder 'Blunderbuss'/with Bayonet Signed 'T Blissett'/Circa 1800's Liverpool, England."

Very good with aged patina on the brass, dark brown patina and mild oxidation on the bayonet and lock, and general mild wear. The stock is also very good and has numerous mild scratches and dings with minor wear on the otherwise crisp checkering. The bayonet mechanism doesn't lock, and the nipple is broken. The lock is mechanically fine.
