The breech end of the blued barrel is marked with various proof marks. The lock plate is marked with a "crown/VR" behind the hammer and "1856/TOWER" ahead. Light border engraving on the lock and hammer with a small engraved section on the hammer. Brass trigger guard and butt plate. Smooth straight grip stock with brass tip. Behind the trigger guard marked with a small "crown/H/10". Left side of stock marked with a "star" and "2". Complete with a swollen head iron ramrod marked "5874".
