LONDON” and “WINNERS OF ALL THE “FIELD” RIFLE TRIALS. LONDON. 1883”. Raised partially file cut matted flat rib with ramp mounted bead front sight and rear sight of one standing notch and two folding leaves graduated to “250” yards and each with platinum inlaid center line. Casehardened sideclipped action with carved percussion fences and blued toplever. Casehardened rebounding back action locks each signed “HOLLAND & HOLLAND”. Furniture including casehardened trigger plate and blued trigger guard. Best quality border and scroll engraving throughout. The underside of the barrels and water table with London black powder proof marks. Well figured 15 inch pistol grip stock including spacer and rubber recoil pad, with raised cheekpiece and checkered grip and forearm, the latter with Anson pushbutton release.
