This is an example of a rewelded/remanufactured H&R Arms Co. manufactured M14E2 style automatic rifle with the selector switch lug. It is fitted with the correct GI style M14E2 stock with the near vertical pistol grip which was intended to help minimize recoil. These rifles were intended to be used in the role of a squad automatic weapon and saw limited use during the Vietnam War. Fitted with an unmarked blade front sight and "NM/2A" marked rear sight with "NM NHS" marked drum, folding foregrip, sling swivels, correct M14E2 style muzzle brake, folding bipod, and recoil pad.
