This is a representative example of an original IMI manufactured fully automatic Uzi submachine gun. This was one of the most famous submachine guns in the early 1960/70s and was heavily used and seen in all the Middle East conflicts between Israel and their neighbors. These were so successful and highly regarded that for a short time they were even used by the U.S. Secret Service. This example has no visible import marks. These used a stamped and welded heavy sheet metal receiver, top cover, and lower trigger housing. They still fully machined the all steel bolt, barrel, and various internal components. The rear left of the receiver is correctly marked "S.M.G. UZI/57525/IMI". "ARS" marked trigger group/selector, ribbed plastic forend and grip, and a fixed hardwood buttstock. Includes five extra magazines, a canvas magazine pouch that holds the five magazines, and a soft case.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retains 97% plus of the original matte grey finish with some scattered light handling marks and edge wear. The plastic is very fine with some light handling marks, and the wood is excellent with minimal handling evidence. The selector switch cover is absent. Mechanically excellent. The extra magazines and pouch are very fine with minimal wear. NOTE: This weapon is a restricted, National Firearms Act (NFA) Class 3, Fully Automatic Weapon, that is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478. This weapon is currently registered as being "LIMITED TO USE AS A SALES SAMPLE (Pre-86)" and as such can only be purchased by an FFL, with a Class 2 or Class 3 SOT License.
