Description:

Underwood barrel dated "1-43", type III barrel band with "KI" marked sling swivel, blue flat milled bolt, "WA" marked smooth magazine catch, "J.A.O" marked lever safety, milled trigger group, elevation adjustable rear peep sight, and standard markings on the receiver heel. High wood, flat bottom pistol grip stock and two rivet handguard with deep cut sighting channel, boxed "C-S.A.A." cartouche on the right side of the buttstock suggesting an arsenal rework, "P-U" stamp in the sling recess, oval cut oiler slot, and stamped checkered buttplate. Includes 1964 dated Army release papers.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal rebuilt, retaining 95% plus arsenal parkerized finish with handling marks. Wood is fine with handling marks, a crack on the right side by the magazine well, and clear stampings. Mechanically excellent.
