In his time as the city marshal, Brubaker more than once made the papers for his actions. The final and most notable being found guilty for discriminatory conduct in 1966 after jailing a government employee for forty-five minutes without charge which lead to a hearing with two delays. Following this incident, Brubaker agreed to remain city marshal until a replacement could be named. Stutman states in the letter that Brubaker gave him the revolver when he passed away. Provenance: The John Fox Collection

Rating Definition:

Very good overall, 65% original blue finish remaining with a smooth brown patina on the balance, scratches, pitting and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically good. This is a revolver filled with stories just waiting to be told showing authentic wear and tear form being carried by a controversial Tombstone lawman.
